4. Do I need to warm up The Healtfur Pawfood meals?
No, our products should not be re-cooked or heated in a microwave. To maintain the nutritional values, it’s important to serve The Healthfur Pawfood in its natural thawed state. Any heat process will further reduce the benefits in our diets. The simple process is simple – thaw in the chiller, then serve. If you insist on serving it warm, you can either steam it or place the The Healthfur Pawfood tray into a bowl of warm water for a short period before serving.
5. How Long can I store The Healthfur Pawfood treats?
We do not add any preservatives to ensure the treats are the healthiest treats your pups can ever have. And because of that, at The Healthfur Pawfood we try our best to provide the freshest treats and to have the longest shelf life possible for you.Generally the treats can be kept up to 6 months if unopened and refrigerated. After opening immediately if kept in air tight containers with our dry packs provided it last up to 3 month. To further extend the shelf life of the treats, freezing the treats below -18 degrees Celsius will allow the treats to last even up to 6 months!
6. Should I be alarmed if my pet has diarrhea or vomits during the initial transition?
Digestive upsets for furkids are quite common but can be prevented. Usually when the food is served cold and not giving ample time to thaw properly in a hygiene preparation. A diet change for the furkid during transition period may also be the reason due to intolerance of a new ingredient introduce into their daily meals or eating too fast may cause indigestion as well.
